A typical day at daycare

Day Care

Full day care with playtime, socializing, and cozy rest periods included.

Arrival - Arrive ready to play between 8am and 9am

Garden sniffs and greetings - Get ready for butt sniffing and zoomies during supervised garden time

Activity time - during the day we have a variety of activities, such as; Training, tricks, ropes and tug time, runs, Bubble play, licki mats, water play, search and find games. we even play dog friendly music sometimes. Activities depend on pack energy.

Rest and relax - This time is very important for your dogs well being, we include lots of rest and chilled moments. sometimes this may be individuals of a full pack sleep.

Cuddles and care - All of our dogs are allocated solo time during the day this might be more play, cuddles, a nice brush or just a calm sit.

Home time- from 2pm pick ups start, we will let you know on pick up how your do has been. We will then hand back your dog who will be ready for their dinned and a good rest

Is my dog suitable for daycare?

All Dogs must under go an assessment and induction period
What we look for......
Temperament & Social Skills
  • Comfortable around unfamiliar dogs

  • Friendly or neutral toward strangers

  • Does not show aggressive behavior around food, toys, or space

  • Recovers quickly from excitement or stress

  • Enjoys play without becoming overly rough

  • Can tolerate noisy or busy environments

  • Has experience interacting with multiple dogs

Health Requirements
  • Up to date on vaccinations (commonly rabies, DHPP, Bordetella)

  • Free from contagious illnesses (coughing, diarrhea, parasites, etc.)

  • On flea/tick prevention

  • Spayed/neutered by 18 months

  • No unmanaged chronic medical conditions that could worsen with activity

  • Energy level matches safe group play

Training & Behavior
  • Responds to basic cues like:

    • Sit

    • Come

    • Leave it

    • Stop

  • Comfortable being handled by staff

  • Can settle after play

  • Not excessively vocal

  • Not destructive when overstimulated

  • Can be separated from owner without severe distress

  • No history of biting

Not all dogs are suitable for daycare and that's ok
